A community-driven initiative for Black fathers and men committed to improving their lives, strengthening their families, and overcoming barriers to long-term stability.

Monthly accountability & growth circle

Real conversations. Real solutions. Real growth.

Each gathering gives men room to speak honestly, identify what is standing in the way, work through practical solutions, and make commitments they can carry into the next month.

Potential should not be lost to a missing support system.

Every Shade of Us began with a simple belief: strong Black communities are built when people have access to support, opportunity, and genuine connection. Too many people face economic hardship, isolation, trauma, or a lack of mentorship without a reliable bridge forward.

We are building that bridge—starting in Detroit—through practical programs rooted in dignity, accountability, education, and community partnership.

People should not be defined by their setbacks, but strengthened by systems that help them rebuild.

Our long-term vision is a connected network of mentorship, family support, wellness, education, and reentry initiatives.

Come as you are. Leave with a next step.

Our circles are intentionally small enough for honest conversation and meaningful support. Food, discussion, resource matching, and accountability are built into the gathering.
